In preparation for the new 2020/21 financial year, we have been working hard throughout June to develop our new website! Today is the day that we can officially share it with the world and showcase everything that Liquid Creative Agency can offer.

Our old website was a great start for our business, but as we continue to grow, our needs for a modern and comprehensive website grow too. We’re super excited to launch this new site and we’ve put a lot of thought into all of the different aspects that needed a facelift.

So, what’s changed?

The Appearance

Firstly, the entire appearance has been refreshed to fit in with a modern, professional, (yet still funky) style of the new decade. As you can see from your device, the whole site has been transformed to be user-friendly on mobile, desktop and tablet devices.

Attention To Detail

There is a significant attention to detail throughout the new site, including the use of small assets that move along the screen as you scroll through the page. We believe this highlights the fine attention to detail that we put into every project that we get the opportunity to work on, so although it may seem minor to you – it’s a very important aspect to us.

Highlighting Our Services

Furthermore, we’ve put a focus on highlighting our services available. As our business grows, so does our service offerings, and we want everyone to understand exactly what we do when determining how we can provide value to their business. The addition of our ‘Services‘ page also allows us to provide an in-depth summary of everything that we can do within each services, such as the multitude of solutions in the digital marketing space, or the versatility of our solutions in the graphic design space.

Our New & Improved Blog

Our blog section has been organised more effectively too, with the ability to browse all of our content via specific topics relevant to the articles. This makes finding our latest news, business advice and resources for small businesses, a lot easier to locate!

An Organised Portfolio

In the portfolio section, we’ve also tidied things up and integrated the ability to browse our work through specific service types. So if you only want to see the work we’ve done in graphic design, you can narrow it down with the click of a button!

Easy Ways to Connect

And last but not least, our contact us form has greatly improved to capture more details about your next project so that we can jump straight into providing you with a price estimate. This means less back and forth emails from the get-go! Provided that you give us a detailed description of your project needs, we should be able to provide you with a quote without needing to ask for more info.

Website Speed

We’ve put a strong focus on speeding things up with this new site, because let’s face it, nobody likes waiting for a website to load, regardless of how ‘pretty’ it looks once it eventually does load. By using a range of tactics, our new website is faster than it’s ever been before! We’ll constantly work to improve on this too, so this is just the beginning.

The Technical Side

This isn’t something that you will notice quite as much as we will, but our new website has been built with the WordPress CMS. Our old website was built as a Static HTML/CSS website, so everything was custom-coded (not fun for adding new content).

With WordPress, we receive a range of benefits to improve the website:

  • Ease of Use – No more coding content pages (woohoo!). We can easily add blog posts and portfolio items to our site in a fraction of the time, which means we can focus more on our client’s projects and spend less time on our own company to-do-list.
  • Stable and Innovative – The great thing about WordPress is the fact that it is trusted by 31.95 of all of the websites in the world. 400 million people view 24 billion pages hosted by WP every month. Why? Because it’s such a stable, well-tested and innovative system that is always improving to keep up with the latest technology.
  • Improved SEO – Search engines love WordPress sites. The code behind the websites are very clean and simple, so search engines can easily find all of the details that it needs to provide people with the information that they are looking for on Google. It also means less time needs to be spent on SEO – bonus!
  • Plugins – What are plugins? Well, they are what makes a great site become even better. There are some highly talented developers out there that create extensions for all kinds of websites, so whenever our business is ready to continue growing, we have the ability to scale our site and improve the functionality without having to spend hours setting up new systems.

What do you think?

Take the time to look around for yourself to check out all of the new pages, content and features. We hope that you love the new site as much as we do!

And if you believe that it might be time for your own website to get a face-lift, please get in touch and we can discuss your options 🙂
